By creating a BrightBites account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use BrightBites.
BrightBites is a marketplace platform connecting schools, vendors, and families for pre-ordered school meals. We facilitate transactions — we are not the vendor and do not prepare food.
You must be 18 or older to create a BrightBites account. Parents create accounts on behalf of their children. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
BrightBites uses a prepaid wallet system. Funds loaded to your wallet are used to pay for meal orders. Wallet load fees apply as disclosed at checkout. All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card data. Unused wallet balances may be requested for refund by contacting hello@brightbites.io.
Orders must be placed before the stated cutoff time, typically 11pm CT the night before service. After the cutoff, orders cannot be cancelled. BrightBites is not responsible for vendor cancellations outside our control.
By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box during registration, you agree to receive transactional text messages from BrightBites by Lighthouse Enrichment. SMS consent is optional and not required to use BrightBites. Standard message and data rates apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
BrightBites displays allergy flags based on information you provide. You are responsible for keeping allergy information current. BrightBites does not guarantee allergen-free food preparation by vendors.
Schools earn a percentage of gross vendor sales processed through BrightBites. Earnings are credited to school accounts monthly. BrightBites is not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Purchases and contributions made through BrightBites are not tax-deductible.
You may not use BrightBites to violate any law, submit false information, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with platform operations.
BrightBites is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gulf of America Business shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
